Infectious Disease Approved 2013-10-24

ECOZA is indicated for the treatment of Tinea Pedis.

Source: FDA Label • RESILIA PHARMS

How ECOZA Works

Ecoza is an azole antifungal. It works by inhibiting the enzyme lanosterol 14α-demethylase, which is essential for the biosynthesis of ergosterol. Ergosterol is a critical component of the fungal cell membrane; its depletion leads to increased membrane permeability and osmotic instability, resulting in the inhibition of fungal growth and cell death of the targeted pathogens.
