LERIBANE (ethinyl estradiol)
Leribane is a combination oral contraceptive containing levonorgestrel (a progestin) and ethinyl estradiol (an estrogen), indicated for use by females of reproductive potential to prevent pregnancy.
How LERIBANE Works
Leribane prevents pregnancy primarily by suppressing ovulation. Secondary mechanisms include thickening of cervical mucus to inhibit sperm penetration and alterations to the endometrium to reduce implantation likelihood.
