NATROBA (spinosad)

Dermatology Approved 2011-01-18

Natroba is a topical medication used to clear head lice and scabies infestations. It helps pediatric and adult patients, specifically those 6 months and older for lice and 4 years and older for scabies. To be most effective, it is used alongside environmental cleaning measures like washing bedding and clothing in hot water to eliminate parasites.

How NATROBA Works

This medication works by triggering neuronal excitation within the nervous systems of lice and mites. This period of hyperexcitation leads to paralysis and the eventual death of the parasites.
