Xofluza is an antiviral medication used for patients five years and older who have acute uncomplicated influenza. It helps patients who have been symptomatic for less than 48 hours, including those who are otherwise healthy or at high risk for complications. Additionally, it is used to prevent the flu in people who have recently been in contact with someone who has the virus.

How XOFLUZA Works

This drug works by inhibiting the influenza virus polymerase acidic (PA) endonuclease. By targeting this specific enzyme, the medication provides antiviral activity against the influenza virus.
