IDOSE TR (travoprost)
iDose TR (travoprost intracameral implant) is a prostaglandin analog indicated for the reduction of intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma (OAG) or ocular hypertension (OHT). The implant provides long-term, continuous delivery of medication directly into the anterior chamber to help maintain target IOP levels.
How IDOSE TR Works
Travoprost free acid, a prostaglandin analog, is a selective FP prostanoid receptor agonist. It is believed to reduce IOP by increasing uveoscleral outflow, though the exact mechanism of action is unknown.
