How CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE Works

The mechanism of action of cyclophosphamide has not been fully characterized. However, its active alkylating metabolites interfere with the growth of susceptible, rapidly proliferating malignant cells, and cross-linking of tumor cell DNA may be involved in this process.
