JAYPIRCA (pirtobrutinib)
JAYPIRCA is indicated for the treatment of Mantle Cell Lymphoma; Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia; Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma.
How JAYPIRCA Works
Pirtobrutinib is a noncovalent inhibitor of Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK). Unlike earlier covalent inhibitors, it binds reversibly to both wild-type BTK and BTK harboring C481 mutations. By blocking BTK signaling in the B-cell antigen receptor (BCR) and cytokine receptor pathways, pirtobrutinib inhibits the proliferation, trafficking, chemotaxis, and adhesion of malignant B-cells.

JAYPIRCA Target & Pathway
ProTarget
A kinase essential for B-cell development and signaling. BTK inhibitors block B-cell receptor signaling, making them highly effective in B-cell malignancies like chronic lymphocytic leukemia and mantle cell lymphoma.

How We Calculate These Metrics
Trial Activity Stage
Measures the current development activity pattern based on trial phases, status, and trends. Important: This measures R&D activity, not commercial lifecycle.
Trial statuses: "Active" means recruiting or ongoing. "Completed" means reached planned endpoint. "Terminated" means stopped early—often due to safety, efficacy, or business reasons.
- Growth: High proportion of early-phase trials (Phase 1/2), active development
- Expansion: Significant Phase 3 activity, approaching or pursuing approvals
- Mature: Substantial Phase 4 post-marketing studies
- Stable: Mixed phase distribution, steady development
- Declining: Low active trial ratio, reduced R&D investment
