How EMERPHED Works

This drug works by directly stimulating alpha- and beta-adrenergic receptors while also triggering the release of norepinephrine from sympathetic nerves. These combined actions increase arterial blood pressure, cardiac output, and peripheral resistance to reverse low blood pressure.
