SYMJEPI (epinephrine)
Symjepi helps adult patients who are experiencing low blood pressure as a result of septic shock. It is used to raise mean arterial blood pressure when it has dropped to dangerous levels during a severe infection. This medication provides critical cardiovascular support for those in a state of shock.
How SYMJEPI Works
This drug works by stimulating both alpha and beta adrenergic receptors in the body. This action raises blood pressure by strengthening the heart's contractions, increasing the heart rate, and narrowing the peripheral blood vessels.
