The safety and efficacy of FIRMAGON were evaluated in an open-label, multi-center, randomized, parallel-group study (NCT00295750) in patients with prostate cancer. 7 DRUG INTERACTIONS No drug-drug interaction studies were conducted. Degarelix is not a substrate for the human CYP450 system. Degarelix is not an inducer or inhibitor of the CYP450 system in vitro . Therefore, clinically significant CYP450 pharmacokinetic drug-drug interactions are unlikely.
